Lots of safety features. Many "computer" assists for cruise control, parking and such like. 40mpg average so far. Plenty of room in the front. Back seat ok for 3 adults, very comfortable for two children. With back seat down Plenty of room for a 45kg American Akita. 2 litre petrol engine gives plenty of poer and good acceleration. Good road holding, and a Go-Kart mode for extra fun.Plus a number of other modes.

I'm 6'2" and I never thought of trying a MINI.. Our previous 3 cars were all VW Tiguans but like many German cars, we felt every bump in the road. There's more legroom for me in the MINI - esp in the front passenger seat. Driving has become a pleasure again.. there's something about the MINI that makes me want to take it out for a drive.. and it's a long time since I've thought that about a car I've owned - it's full of thoughtful features. There are only two of us - so it suits us fine. Parking - no problem.. Good field of view using all 3 mirrors and reversing camera.. Then there's park assist - which I have yet to use in 5 months of ownership.. (says a lot about how easy it is to park) Its dynamics on the road are difficult to describe -it goes where you point it very easily with no dramas..

Amazing versatility and how much luggage you can transport. Very economical. I can obtain 45-50 mpg on a run in the cooper S ALL4 automatic. Extremely comfortable on long drives.
